A WWII documentary aired on ABC TV in 2007

In 2006, Waterbyrd Filmz produced the television documentary Vivian Bullwinkel: An Australian Heroine. The documentary chronicles the extraordinary life and legacy of the Australian Army nurse who survived a shipwreck, a massacre and three and a half years of living hell as a prisoner of the Japanese during World War II.

Vivian Bullwinkel: An Australian Heroine premiered on the ABC on the day after ANZAC day, 26th April 2007 and attracted a national audience of 754,000 people. Learn more
